This winter, João Cancelo is finally all smiles as he returns to Catalonia. On Sunday afternoon, against Levante, FC Barcelona got the job done during this 25th La Liga matchday (3-0), with a convincing victory and reclaiming first place in the standings, overtaking Real Madrid (2nd).
At the final whistle, João Cancelo, who provided the assist for Barça’s second goal, sent a heartfelt message to his teammates. “This is the best locker room I’ve ever had in my career. It was already like this in 2023. That’s also partly why I came back,” he revealed, after his stint in Saudi Arabia with Al-Hilal.
