Days after his signing to Zuffa Boxing for a reported $15 million fight raised plenty of eyebrows, Conor Benn's opponent has been revealed.

Benn will fight Regis Prograis under the Zuffa Boxing and Ring banners April 11 in England. The fight will stream live on Netflix from Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London. Zuffa Boxing announced the matchup Thursday.

Benn, from England, caused a stir when he signed with Zuffa Boxing in a surprising and controversial move after years with Eddie Hearn's Matchroom Boxing. Hearn and Zuffa Boxing/UFC's Dana White have no love lost, particularly in light of Benn's move.

The plot thickened when it was revealed Benn's one-fight deal was for $15 million – the kind of money that's almost certainly never been seen by UFC fighters on official paystubs. That caused plenty of uproar in the MMA community in light of the UFC's history of underpaying fighters and the recent lawsuits it's involved in and has settled that have alleged monopsony status by the promotion.

Benn (24-1, 14 KOs), 29, most recently won a unanimous decision over Chris Eubank Jr. this past November. That was a rematch of the lone loss of his pro career, a decision setback to Eubank in April 2025.

Prograis (30-3, 24 KOs), 37, from New Orleans, is a lefty protege of Evander Holyfield. He's held the light welterweight (140 pounds) titles for the WBA and WBC. This past August, he beat ex-champ Joseph Diaz by decision in Chicago to snap a two-fight skid of decision losses in title fights to Devin Haney and Jack Catterall.
