The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has released the list of referees selected for a training camp in Cairo in preparation for the quarter-finals of both the CAF Champions League and the CAF Confederation Cup.
A total of 29 referees from around twenty different nations across the continent have been chosen. These officials will take charge of the decisive stages of Africa's top club competitions, specifically the quarter-finals and semi-finals in the CAF Champions League and the CAF Confederation Cup.But before taking the whistle, they will undergo a training session in the Egyptian capital to review and unify the rules of the game.
The quarter-final matches for both competitions are set to kick off on March 13 with some thrilling clashes on the horizon.
