· Yahoo Sports

Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Brusdar Graterol may miss the beginning of the season as he recovers from injury, but he’s sure seems to be enjoying the chance to watch the action on the field.

Graterol was spotted busting a move in the Dodgers clubhouse following Team Venezuela’s win over Team USA in the World Baseball Classic.

Fellow Venezuelan Dodger Miguel Rojas thankfully captured the moment and shared it to Instagram so fans could see the pitcher’s celebration.

Why Weren’t Brusdar Graterol and Miguel Rojas on Team Venezuela?

Graterol continues his recovery from shoulder surgery, though he told Dodgers Nation’s Doug McKain he’s in much better shape ahead of the 2026 season.

“Never give up, always stay strong,” he said. “Thank God my wife, my mom, my daughter were there next to me to push me, keep my head up.”

Rojas isn’t injured, but he was held out of the WBC due to insurance issues.

He hinted at being 37 years old as the reason insurance denied his request to play.

“I am very sad today,” Rojas wrote in a caption translated from Spanish to English. “It’s a real shame not to be able to represent my country and wear that flag on my chest.

“On this occasion, age was not just a number.”

That age didn’t stop him from tying the World Series with a ninth-inning home run just a few months ago, but apparently, recent performance wasn’t enough for the insurance company.

How Did Venezuela Win the WBC?

Despite missing Graterol and Rojas, Team Venezuela toppled the heavy favorites Team USA 3-2 in the final game on Tuesday night.

The American squad tied the game at 2-2 in the bottom of the eighth inning with a two-run homer by Bryce Harper, but in the top of the ninth, Venezuela responded.

Eugenio Suárez hit an RBI double, and the Americans were unable to muster a run in the bottom of the ninth.

It seems even from the Dodgers Clubhouse, Rojas and Graterol thoroughly enjoyed Team Venezuela’s victory.
