The Pittsburgh Steelers are signing former Chicago Bears running back Travis Homer, per Ian Rapoport.

Homer serves more as a special teamer than a running back, as he had just one carry in 2025 in 10 games. For his career, he has 90 rushing attempts and one touchdown. Homer was drafted in the sixth round of the 2019 NFL Draft by the Seattle Seahawks out of the University of Miami.

This marks the second running back the Steelers have signed this offseason, as they added two-time 1,000-yard rusher Rico Dowdle in the first week of free agency to create a very exciting duo of Dowdle and Jaylen Warren. Additionally, the Steelers have added the likes of Michael Pittman Jr. via trade with the Indianapolis Colts, Jamel Dean, and Jaquan Brisker.
