International breaks are rarely popular with fans, especially if you're in the race for the play-offs or (whisper it) the automatic promotion places…

As we approach the final seven games of what has been a remarkable 2025-26 campaign, the Lions sit in fourth spot behind Ipswich and Middlesbrough, with just two points separating them - although the Tractor Boys hold what may prove to be a critical game in hand on their two rivals.

From the Millwall perspective, the trip to the Riverside Stadium is looking more and more like a pivotal moment in the season.

Can the Lions pull off a historic achievement and steal that second place?

They'll need to win at Boro - and keep winning to the final match.
