Masters 2026 tee times: Pairings for the first and second round at Augusta National
· Yahoo Sports
The countdown is finally drawing to an end, and the 2026 Masters is almost here. Anticipation for the year’s first men’s major has been bubbling since … well, at least since Scottie Scheffler claimed the claret jug with his Open Championship win at Royal Portrush. You could argue, however, that people started getting excited after Rory McIlroy slipped on the green jacket here at Augusta National a year ago.
The opportunity to play in the Masters isn’t lost on any golfer, whether a past champion making his 41st appearance like Fred Couples or among the 21 players competing for the first time.

As Thursday’s first round creeps closer, the question on many minds is who will be paired with who. Tradition means defending champion Rory McIlroy will be paired with U.S. Amateur champion Mason Howell. And several of the 17 other past champions in the field will likely be paired with first-time players in a nod to the bridging of generations. And there’s also the curiosity of how Masters officials will handle the 11 LIV golfers competing this week.
Below is the complete player field. Thursday first round and Friday second round tee times have yet to be set, but check back here and we’ll have them posted as soon as they go live.
