MM 4.9: Maryland softball walks off Georgetown, 5-3

Zayda Rocke’s two-run home run in the bottom of the seventh inning delivered Maryland softball a walkoff 5-3 win over Georgetown Wednesday.
The Terps rallied from a 3-1 deficit in the bottom of the sixth inning. Caroline Fox registered two hits on the evening, with her second bringing a runner home in the bottom of the sixth to bring the deficit to just one.

Gracie Wilson hit her first career home run in the second inning to give Maryland a 1-0 lead before tying the game at 3-3 in the bottom of the sixth with an RBI groundout.
On the mound, Elisea Wiegand earned five scoreless innings before Georgetown slammed a three-run homer in the top of the sixth inning. Keira Bucher closed out the win in the seventh frame.
