The Denver Broncos and Pittsburgh Steelers will need to upgrade their wide receiver rooms this offseason, and there is a young receiver set to hit the market who would be an ideal signing for both teams.

Bleacher Report's Kristopher Knox lists Denver and Pittsburgh as possible landing spots for Indianapolis Colts free agent wide receiver Alec Pierce.

Knox also believes Pierce will cash in on a four-year deal worth $94 million, which is an average annual value of $23.5 million:

"Given Pierce's age and skill set, he should expect a deal in the annual range of teammate Michael Pittman Jr.'s contract."

Pierce is coming off a breakout campaign in 2025, snagging a career-high 47 receptions for 1,003 yards and six touchdowns. The 25-year-old also led the league in yards per reception (21.3) for the second straight year

The Broncos and Steelers have No. 1 wide receivers, as Courtland Sutton is still playing at a high level for Denver, while DK Metcalf is a dynamic playmaker when healthy and focused. However, neither team has an established second option in their passing offenses.

Though he still needs to find more consistency, Pierce would be a nice No. 2 receiver for the Broncos or Steelers, as his field-stretching abilities and 6-foot-3 size make him an electric playmaker and fantastic complement to a bona fide top pass-catching option.

Pittsburgh is projected to have more cap space than Denver this offseason, but both franchises have the money to bring in Pierce to bolster their passing attacks.

If Pierce isn't retained by the Colts, he will have a competitive market after a promising season, with the Steelers and Broncos being two suitor teams that make a lot of sense.
