Still with the bases loaded, the Cajuns walked in another run, which prompted a pitching change. From Delbrey to Sage Hoover, the second error of the inning brought in the third run.
Now 3-0 with only one out, the ‘Noles continued to apply pressure to the defense. An error and single from Anna Hinde brought in two more runs.

In the previous inning, Ashtyn Danley relieved the freshman Dimitrijevic, coming on for the final out. For the 5th, Danley only allowed one single, that was erased on a caught stealing.
Offensively, Danley got things going with her bat. After she reached on a single, Shelby McKenzie walked with one out. Another error from the ULL defense had ‘Noles at every base. A wild pitch from Hoover brought a run, followed by a sacrifice fly that made it 7-0. With a runner on third base, Bella Ruggiero gave FSU the winning run.
