One of Lamar Jackson’s favorite targets is heading elsewhere, and he’s getting paid handsomely, too.

Tight end Isaiah Likely will join the New York Giants, agreeing to a three-year deal worth $40 million on March 9, according to reports.

Likely, 25, was bound for a featured role as a first-team tight end after mostly playing behind Mark Andrews with the Baltimore Ravens.

Along with Likely’s intriguing size at 6-4, 245 pounds, he caught nearly 70 percent of his passes with an impressive 11.6 yards per reception during his time in the NFL.

Likely had career highs with 42 catches, 477 yards and six touchdowns in 2024. But as Jackson's production regressed last season amid injuries, so did Likely’s statistics with just 27 catches for 307 yards and a touchdown in 2025.

Overall, Likely had 135 catches for 1,568 yards in four seasons.

He agreed to a four-year, $4.16 million rookie deal after being selected as a fourth-round pick by the Ravens out of Coastal Carolina in 2022.

The news likely (no pun intended) won’t be taken lightly by Jackson, the Ravens’ starting quarterback.

On Feb. 23, Jackson responded to a social media post, predicting which team Likely would play for next season, by tagging the Ravens’ X account, adding three prayer emojis and a purple heart to his response.
