Colby Covington wants a jury to believe that fellow UFC welterweight Jorge Masvidal left him disfigured following a 2022 street attack outside a Miami Steakhouse.

Masvidal pled guilty to misdemeanor battery the following year and it appeared the case was closed; however, Covington recently filed a civil suit against his former training partner, according to MMA Junkie, seeking damages in excess of $100,000.
Attorneys for “Chaos” claim their client was stricken with “pain and suffering, disability, disfigurement, physical impairment, mental anguish, loss of capacity for the enjoyment of life, expense of hospitalization, medical and nursing care, loss of earnings, and aggravation of a pre-existing condition.”
And don’t forget about that fancy-shmancy watch!

“The Last Stylebender” is pushing for harsher “coward punch” laws after his friend and teammate was killed by a sucker punch outside an Auckland bar in early 2021.
A court date for Covington’s civil suit has yet to be determined.
