On Wednesday, his daughter Antanyiah added another chapter to the family's legacy.

In front of a crowd of her family and friends and North Miami High School (FL), Antanyiah announced that she would continue running track at the college level for the University of Kansas. She chose the Jayhawks over Arkansas State and South Florida.

Considered one of the fastest runners in the Sunshine State, Antanyiah made waves in the 3A championships during her junior season. She finished second as a member of the 4x100 relay team, took fourth in the 100-meter dash and seventh in the 200-meter dash.

As a senior, she's only gotten better.

At the GMAC Invitational earlier this month, she won the 100 with a time of 12.08. Antanyiah competed in the Ellis Elite 16 Invitational, running an 11.74 in the 100 and 23.97 in the 200.

Antonio changed his profile picture on X to a photo of Antanyiah in a Kansas uniform. Earlier in the week, he posted a video where she ran a 23.8 during a 200.

Speed comes naturally to Antanyiah, as her father was regarded as one of the NFL's fastest players during his tenure, especially in Pittsburgh.

Antonio played 12 seasons in the NFL and was named an All-Pro four times.

In 2014 and 2015, Antonio led the NFL in receptions, in 2014 and 2017, he led the league in receiving yards, and in 2018, he led the league with 15 receiving touchdowns. He finished his career with 928 receptions for 12,291 yards and 83 touchdowns.
