When he is not setting the tone at the All-Star Game, he is leading the Spurs to a 25-point drubbing of the Rockets. Mixed in is a 38-point opening frame against title contender Detroit and countless other feats that seem to arrive night after night.
Last Friday the stat line bordered on comical in a victory over the Clippers: 27 points in just 22 minutes of action.
As the late Tupac Shakur once said, “All Eyez on Me.” Right now, all eyes are firmly on Victor Wembanyama, to the point that even his pregame warmups have become a must-see attraction.

Few people understand greatness better than Robert Parish. Over a Hall of Fame career, Parish scored more than 23,000 points and collected four championship rings.
When asked by The Sporting News about the ceiling for the 8-foot-wingspan phenom, Parish kept it simple.
“It’s an easy assessment on how great he’s going to be,” Parish said. “Just base your opinions on what our eyes are telling you each night.”
So the question naturally follows: is it already too soon to place Victor Wembanyama on the Spurs’ Mount Rushmore in just his third season?

The next chapter begins tonight.
San Antonio enters an intriguing mini-stretch against the Denver Nuggets, facing Denver three times before the regular-season finale on April 12th. The middle matchup will feature a rare Saturday afternoon tip at Ball Arena.
For a player who already commands the attention of the entire basketball world, it is simply the next stage for the Spurs’ generational star.
